The Federation of African Associations in the Canary Islands

Who are We?

The Federation of African Associations in the Canary Islands is an open and plural organization, promoted by Africans living in the Canary Islands since 2008.

Promote, guide, and encourage all those legal activities necessary to foster relations and cultural and socio-economic development between the Canary Islands community and the African continent.

The conservation and promotion of the culture and folklore of the African countries that are part of the Federation and the implementation of the number of countries and member associations.

To serve as a channel and support for the associations in order to achieve the full integration of its members in the Canarian, Spanish and European society. Facilitating all kinds of advice.

What we do

We offer a communication system, which makes the situation of African countries known without stereotypes, to the Canarian population in general NGOs and Administrations.

To offer truthful information that facilitates the viability of development cooperation projects in Africa.

We Bring People Closer

To bring the Canary Islands society and social agents closer to information on the current situation of different African countries.
